Gunterrsville in late April?

I’ve fished Gville early in February, March and late in October. I absolutely love it.

However I wanted to see if anyone could tell me how the fishing was in late April or early May I would greatly appreciate it.

I fished it early May last year and we caught them pretty good on the south end of the lake. Found some good bream beds and they kept reloading all day with good keepers. We had around 17 lbs but should have had around 20

Varies from year to year but a friend/guide down there told me that after the spawn when the fish move out and start feeding again (late april/early may), that was his favorite time. You can sit in one spot and catch 50.
