Why don't we all plan on a fishing trip to sunny south Florida this winter?

Who would be up for a big Johnyrude get together this winter here in Florida?

We would need to come up with a date and go from there. Lets make this a family thing.

What's wrong with the BBC Florida Rally IV, March 4th, Leesburg, FL?

Al, nothing wrong with the Florida rally and I'll try and make it. I was just trying to get us Johnyrude guys together for a little R&R.

Rusty, is there any weekend you could get away on and swing down?

CM, even if its only a few of us it should be fun!

A Rude only rally would be so relaxing. Just think, a whole weekend with no black motors to tow in.

Shawn, my season starts the first of January and does not slow down until October, this year I managed to sneak away for a couple of days to make the TN Rally.

Hey guys I'm thinking maybe the second weekend in Feb. The bite starts a little earlier this far south.

I'm thinking the Big O one day maybe canals the next. Maybe even a little salt water action, snook and redfish. Or we could charter a boat for a day and get some grouper!!!

Reports out of the big O are that the water is dirty but the fish are BIG.


We should be able to catch some real hawgs in feb. If I can get an idea on who wants to come I can set up a firm date and find out about accomadations.

Count me in for the Rally and anything else down here where fishin is concerned!

When you talk about canals are you talkin' the ones in the Cape or others? Cape canals can be very good as that's where I got my biggest bass from a couple years ago. 9-2 on a jig if you can be believe that. If not, try it and you tell me. Anyway, don't know if I can make it down to the old neighborhood but I can try.
