Got the house inspected today, looked good!

After waiting on paperwork from HUD to get done, the home inspector came out and did his part. Everything went good and looked to be in good shape. Now it's the banks turn to get on the ball. We spent 3 hrs on the house going over everything, and waiting for the water to get turned on. The only major problem was that someone got into the house and stole the oven/cooktop. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif dang theives!!!Other than that everything was in great shape.

Congrats, now I would be worried about the alertness of your neighbors if someone can steal that large of an an appliance and not be noticed.

Being HUD, there are workers every week in there. When I called the agent and talked to her about it, she informed me that was light in theft of a HUD home. Most of the time they get the fans, light fixtures, ac units, blinds, door knobs, dishwashers, even granite counter tops. Since it wasn't in contract yet, they won't do anything. As of now if anything comes up missing, HUD will have to replace it. I took a video, and my wife took pics incase anything Else comes up missing. HUD workers are still doing yard and pest maintiance there for the next 30 days. She told me they caught a group of workers at Canton selling fans, dooor knobs, sink fixtures, cabnet doors, even garage door openers.
