I like all of these colors depending on light conditions. I adjust as light conditions change during the day for the best view. Overall this stuff is crazy good and enjoying learning all Garmin units offer.

Depending on the sky conditions & amount of silt or stain in the water column i experiment with color to see what gives more detail to my personal vision on a given day. Most times i end up with either emerald green or moss over amber or the blue like in the pic because i seem to get more detail in my own eyes. Seems like certain colors are interpreted to some folks vision differently than others. Make sense? :confused2:

On the rusted steel.
Does the lighter color (orange) mean its a hard bottom or object?

Yes. Caribbean shows hard spots better IMO. Sorry for the late response.
