Almost New Record Smallie On Ivie

Dale Dixon stopped by Friday on his way to Ivie. We got the new F8 Golden Cherry Tornado worms in Thursday. He got to Ivie that evening and put one on. His very first cast got him a huge 5 pound smallie that missed the lake record by only 2 ounces! They said they will download the pictures on Monday after they get home and get off of work Monday. I can't wait to see them. Susan and my wife spent the week down there having a girl's time out, without the husbands. They caught some super fish this week. Barbie said she had one on that she couldn't turn around and it pulled off on her. Another hawg jumped and spit the hook back at her. Susan caught a heavy 8 pounder that looks like it should weigh 10! It's thick as all get out.

Is Fish Finder Marine in RR still handling your baits, haven't talked to Jackie for some time.

Jackie is still carrying them. But, he hasn't placed an order in a couple of months. Said most everyone down there are die-hard GB users and aren't buying the Tornado. He doesn't have the Golden Cherry either, since it's a new color that's been made since his last order.

That's Dale and Susan's favorite color. They're the ones that tested the original Golden Cherry for us and won the PBOI on it. They won $7,000 in two months of testing it. Thanks SkeeterMark. Tightlines in Killeen won't carry them because he said he has too many die-hard GB users that would get mad if he carried them. That's wierd. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif No problem to me. Just makes it tougher for you guys down there to buy them locally. At least Jackie man enough not to care what other people think. He and I are good friends and he tells it like it is.

We have 4 new colors coming out that are going to blow you away. We're shooting the F4's in them this week, the F8's next week and then the F5's. Then, we will release them. We're also working on a Firetiger as our next color to be tested. We have another color called "Cammo" being tested now. It's a good looking color that no one has. It changes color depending on the clarity of the water.
