troy

l am going tomorrow to fish troy lake, i heard its a good size lake right out side troy, texas. i have been told there has been several 10 pounders pulled out of there. anyone ever heard of it or any info about it?

last time I was there was several several years ago but they use to close from nov to feb. But yes on the nice fish say a pic of a guy holding 2 over eight same day

we decided to go to belton instead, the troy lake was down about 4-5 feet, going to fish it in the spring

Troy lake. also known as "little busters"
is an excellent place to fish whether your fishing for the big ones or just going out to try out some new stuff.
i would recommend fishing the airiator tank and along the dam.
or on the west side of the lake there is an old windmill around a bend that is also a great place to fish.
most of the big bass have been caught along the rocky dam tho.
if your looking to fish crappie the airiator tank is the way to go
if your wanting to catfish then off the bank is as best place as anywhere.
their have been some big cat's takin out of there. from 1 pound to 65 pounds ive heard their have been bigger ones takin out but ive only personally seen up to 65 pounds.
one of my friends pulled out a 11 and a half pound large mouth
his brother pulled out a 10.43 pound large mouth i pulled out a 10.65 large mouth.
so their are some big fish in there
