CAST Couples Metroplex Region Season Over

Well our first year as CAST Directors has come to an end. What a great year we had! We had some first year problems that I think will be taken care of next year for sure. I now have a list of things that I need to take with me to each tournament. (Like Plaques for the winners) Funny it was the first and last tournament that I forgot the plaques!

It was a tough year as far as weather goes. High winds and cold temps hampered the first tournament. Low water and cool temps for the second. Then someone said let it rain! Flood waters and strong thunderstorms for the next two. Then finally Beautiful weather for the last two!

We had a blast as directors! I hope everyone that fished with us did too!

I know that Jeff fished with us I donÂt know if any of the others read here but this is your Top Six finishers for the year.

These six teams will be competing in the Top Six Shootout that will take place on Sept. 29th. They will be competing against all the Top Six Teams in CAST. This is the first year for something like this with the CAST and I think it will be great for those that qualify.

Every time we turn around CAST is coming up with new and different ways to make fishing with your significant other better and better. If you have ever considered fishing with your Wife, or Girlfriend then this is a great opportunity for you. We have a great time and hope that it is like one big family. The payouts for the championship have grown, sponsors list have grown, and now a Top Six Tournament also. You can see that there are many opportunities fishing with CAST.

I hope to have a schedule of next years lakes put together before the championship it OCT. I know that many tournament circuits will not have their schedules posted before then but I will try to do the best that I can.
