Re: Weekend at Choke (utinator)
See ya, there. I sure hope Josh has them rounded up!!!!
Re: Weekend at Choke (Golferpimp1)
The bass club I fish with out of Austin will be there next weekend for two days to fish our Classic.
Re: Weekend at Choke (bgibson53)
Please don't let the arrogant ass in your club win. Altough it's kinda tough knowing he gets all kind of info from people who fish the lake regularly. He can't find his own fish on any lake.

I haven't heard from Josh lately. If you see him, try to get some info out of him. That boy knows how to put them bucket-mouths in the boat!
Re: Weekend at Choke (utinator)
Hey guys, I'll be there. Wont be in my boat though, I dont have a prop right now http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif
I'll be fishing with Marcus.
Re: Weekend at Choke (JoshKeller)
had a pretty good time, but we could never really find the big ones until sunday about an hour before the rains came. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif
Re: Weekend at Choke (JoshKeller)
Another SAL came from there over the weekend, I believe http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
Re: Weekend at Choke (Bobs21X)
Bobby, one just over 14lbs was caught there. Myself and RickT will be down there for a two day club tournament this coming weekend.
Re: Weekend at Choke (bgibson53)
you guys would do well to drag baits over mainlake points in 8 - 15 feet. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
I forgot my carolina rig line, and used some 13 lbs as a leader, broke off 3 HEAVY fish, landed a 2 lber, and lost a 8+ at the boat. Next time I'll swing her on in instead of trying to net it. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif Unfortunatly we didnt get on this pattern until about an hour before the rains came. We did fairly well (14 lb limit) on rattle traps on the main lake points, left side to which the wind was coming in.
Re: Weekend at Choke (JoshKeller)
Well, it wasn't as good as I expected, but I still caught some fish. I didn't find the bigger ones like Josh, but at least I boated all the ones I hooked. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
Here's my biggest for the weekend. I caught theses 2 on back to back casts:

How did you do?
Re: Weekend at Choke (SkeeterMark)
Fishing was great, the weather cooperated for the most part both days. The wind blew just enough to make it comfortable both days. Water level was good, as was the color. Everyone brought in good sacks of fish. Your buddy and his partner won the tournament with a 10.28lb kicker the first day. Mike Amescua caught the big fish.
Re: Weekend at Choke (bgibson53)
I was wondering about the water levels. I was looking at the weather down there and saw a flood warning. We'll be down there this Sunday for our club tourney.
I thought I asked you to whip his a*#! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif Doesn't look like he won though.
