Fuel water seperator?

How many of you locals have put in the fuel water seperator in the boat?

My opinion not needed, I do add an additive couple times a year to clean injectors etc. and remove water from fuel. Does it work? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif Haven't had any problems.

Davy you can get some stuff at your local dealer to add to the gas that will take any water out of the fuel.

Davy, Never had a problem with water. BUT, i will tell you what a older fisherman told me. Always buy gas at a station on a hill (even for your tow truck) if a station is at the bottom of a hill try to avoid it. Best not to buy gas at a pump on the water,lines may be run under water and you never know if there is a leak. So far it's worked for me for years.
