I have a 522 Ranger with a 2007 Etech 225 HO. I just built a building for it to be stored in but the building is not insulated or have heat. I have never winterized my boat because it's always been stored where it very seldom got below 32 deg.
I also run my motor at least 1 time every 30 days and keep the tank 7/8 to full all the time. I run the XD 100 oil and live in the Memphis, tn area. What are your comments on this.
Do you mean you run it on the muffs or you take it out once a month.
I usually go fishing. Last weekend for bass in the TN river and then starting in jan we fish for sauger in the TN river thru mid march. Then our bass fishing starts in April.
Since you use the boat, and your temps rarely go below freezing (with indoor storage), I think you would be ok, just make sure you keep Marine Stabil in the tank.
Follow the instructions in the owners manual to winterize your engine.
