Places To Stay Near Paris Landing State Park???
I'm fishing the FLW Everstarts and it looks almost certain that I will qualify to fish the national championship tournament on Kentucky Lake. I'm currently in 8th place in the Texas division standings. The tournament is in October and we will be launching out of Paris Landing State park.
Can you guys give me some info on where you think I should make reservations near there with a reasonable rate and clean rooms? The wife will be coming to it also, so some suggestions on shopping places around there would be nice also.
Thanks in advance for the help. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

First place to try is Fishtale Lodge 731-642-7113. Its about a mile or so from the ramp. It's a smaller place so it might get booked early. Next try the Paris Landing Hotel, 731-642-0217, it will probably cost more but it's a pretty big hotel and also close to the ramp. There is also a Hampton Inn 731-642-2838 and Paris Inns and Suites 731-642-8881 about 15 minutes from the ramp. As far as shopping that's close goes, she's out of luck.

I go with the Fishtale Lodge as my first choice, but like the others said, it does fill up fast.
BTW, absolutely LOVE your Tornado baits. First thing I reach for when shakeyhead fishing. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

Thanks everyone......
The wife went with me when I went to Old Hickory and she loved the scenery up there. She said there is no way I'm going without her. She's not afraid to drive a couple of hours to shop. You know women!!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
