Re: Coming to Nashville!!! (dreaminbig)

Re: Coming to Nashville!!! (chunky t)
If that car show is that weekend, yeah you should try to get a room in MJ or something. There's a Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn and Suites and another hotel i can't remember what it is right now. Bunch of damn idiots up there for that car show.

Re: Coming to Nashville!!! (fiddlefarter)
The lady at the hotel mentioned to me about the car show but it's no big deal really. We will be leaving on Saturday anyway. Our hotel is literally right next to I-40 so we'll be fine. Thanks for the heads up though.
Josh, thanks for the link.

Mt. Juliet is nice. Franklin (15 miles out of Nashville) is really nice but could get pricey. Smyrna (10-15 miles southeast) of Nashville) is really growing fast and a good place too. Also my have a shot at a LEO job there. Good luck and look forward to having you as a neighbor.

Just don't get a plkace to close to the river if you haven't already seen.
Re: Coming to Nashville!!! (mikes05triton)
I didn't realize downtown would get hit the way it has from the floods so we may shorten our stay a day since we had planned on a day down there. I'm not gonna venture into that area since it will be in cleanup mode.
EDIT: After my wife saw the pictures of Nashville she is questioning not coming right now. Is the MJ area affected this bad? We have another vacation coming up in Sep. so we can do it then also. What's your true opinion?

Re: Coming to Nashville!!! (dreaminbig)
Mt. Juliet is fine... Honestly I wouldn't be worried about coming at the end of the month. Anything around Nashville that's still jacked up then will still be jacked up in Sept and I'm sure some things will be. There are things that are going to take a long time to get straightened out. But I wouldn't it let it keep me from visiting. JMHO
Now if you were coming this weekend I would say don't come http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
