Re: First trip to Keystone (BigBear)
to me Keystone ain't all that good of a lake, I've never bass fished it but over the 25 plus years I have lived around here I have caught very little from it. Although there are folks who catch all they care to and I'm sure it's a condition of knowing where the fish are. In the past few years I have had a lot of good luck fishing the mud creek areas off of prue road but access from a public ramp is a long boat ride and complicated without a map.... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif
Re: First trip to Keystone (BigBear)
I would try the salt creek area south of Manford, depending on the stage of the fish working the bends of the creek, or moving onto secondary points. some real nice fish come out of keystone every year but they aren't easy to find
