Needing Help....

Where can I find a map of the Three Rivers area on the Arkansas River? Any info would be appreciated.

go to the tulsa corp of engineers site and search for mclellan kerr arkansas river pool 16 charts 9-13 should get you that entire stretch of the river i just printed them off last night but i dont have the link when do you fish there ?

http://www.topozone.com you can find topo maps for anywhere you want to go. stay with the free section. has a nice print feature too. may have to print several pages and match them up for a good usable map.

Thanks guys- what kind of vegetation is in the backwaters there? Will it fish like the Red River or be fairly barren of any vegetation?

normally there are weed beds and lots of wood but i was just there today from the grand river down to boudinout creek and the weed beds arent growing yet all the bait is out in the river i caught one 14-1/2 inch spot a large sandie and a small striper i lost 2 good fish around a well just in case tr20 daryl is readin this i ll tell you later the water tem was 74 + ill be back down there tomorrow and try some different stuff

We were there yesterday too, never saw you. ended up with 3 unders. stayed south of the ramp, may try north next trip.

what ramp did you put in on 3 forks ? or afton landing i went back today and momma caught a 3.1/2 i caught 1/ 1.15 i have lost five good fish on a certain bait we had several 10" ones and i had something very large and very strong take a lure and about 150 yards of 12lb line i loosened up the drag and he never even slowed down now larry told me he killed them somewhere on the river i busted up my new mg 360 crap mount but im goin back tomorrow.

we put in at 3 forks. we have never done well at the nav channel. we can find bass but no size to them.
