Are These OEM Heads on My 92 Evinrude 200XP?
I looked at several pics of this motor but haven't seen the name Baker 50cc stamped on any. Is this an OEM head or something aftermarket? I wonder if I should be running a higher octane fuel than 87 with them? Heres a pic of what mine looks like.

9 chances out of 10 those are rebuilt/ and shaved heads from Baker marine ( used to be scareyfast) they are kind of like MAD but ususlly spealized in Black motors not johnsons. still in business as far as I know may want to post on the scream and fly web site and if not mistaken they are hanging around there.

You will need to run at least 89 octane but 93 is preferred or you will be rebuilding before you know it.

Thanks , thats what I was thinking, glad I only have a 1/4 tank of 87 in right now. I guess I will top off with 93 and add a little octane boost for now just for saftey.

Octane boost is usually no more than methanol. This stuff could do more damage to rubber and plastic than you think. I wouldn't add that and it will not help raise the octane more than .2. It will also attract water moisture. Add a gallon of racing gasoline (113) to your 89 and you should be well within the reguired octane of those heads. It will run cooler and it smells nice too. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
