HENDERSON NC (Buggs)boat friendly "CLEAN" motel ??

Ive not went to that part of Buggs in 4 or 5 years. Cant do another State TX with sleeping arrangements like Last year in Plymonth....lol the port of Plymonth was just toooooooo much for this old man. Still smelling cigerette smoke in my Cpat machine and looking over my shoulder.
Got to thinking last time we went to Buggs that TBF headquarter's motel wasnt much better. SO MY QUESTION IS ......do you guys that go there regularly have a requmendation of a motel up that way?

Jameson Inn off exit 213 is good so guys in my club have said. It is close to Walmart and all the good eatin joints. You can access it off I-85 as it sits on the service road between exit 212 and 213.

Stay clear of the Americas Best Value off I-85. That place was totally nasty. Guys was complaining about public hairs all over the supposively clean sheets and asked for different rooms. Some left that hotel all together. Drunks in the parking lot close to alot of big $$ boats was not an easy feeling either.

Sleep inn and hampton inn are both pretty good. Hampton inn has a little better parking, but sleep inn would be a little cheaper.

I have stayed at the Econo Lodge, it isnt bad.

Jameson Inn is nice. Cameras that actually work.

I've stayed at the Jameson, nice place, but didn't have the boat. I don't remember seeing any outside electric hook ups and running them out of the room is not an option.

There are electric hook ups at the Jameson they are at the base of the outside spotlights. A lot of the plugs dont work and that is the only downfall as the accomidations are very nice! http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

Hey guys we have room for a few guys fishing the State tourney at Buggs. Nice, clean, secure house on the lake our club has rents. Private drive and plenty of room for boats and trucks, and you have the option to leave your boat on the water if you want and still plug in.
