Need some info on North Carolina Bass fishing.. Can yall help?
Im traveling to Nags head in July, and looking to take my boat down and do a little bass fishing. Only problem is I have no clue where to go! Are there any good lakes or rivers to fish for largemouth close to Nags Head? Thanks for the help guys.

Currituck Sound, Alligater,Pasqoutank and North rivers are real close. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif

There is a NC Wildlife ramp in Kitty Hawk. That will put you in Kitty Hawk Bay. There used to be some bass in there, but it has been years since I fished there.
I would seriously consider the Alligator or heading to Coinjock to fish Currituck Sound or the North River.

Bassmaster Classic was fished in Currituck Sound, I think it was 1979?? Suppose to still be pretty good fishing, just away from civilization.

Thanks guys, i found some info on the alligator river and east lake. These seem to be about 20 min from Nags head. Anybody fish east lake from the mashoes, boat ramp?

Never fished East Lake, but the Frying Pan and the Little Alligator have a few fish. Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to get down there yet this year.
If you have never fished down there, be aware the Alligator can get very nasty when the wind gets up.
