Anyone with Outer Banks Fishing Charters?
My friend is getting married this June and I am best man...I'm thinking of chartering a boat and going marlin fishing for a guys "thing". Does anyone have suggestions to share? Do you know of a guide to call?
I don't know the first thing about saltwater fishing, but I understand June is good for Marlin. Thanks!

call Chris Elliott with Crystal Coast Charters. Great guy. He used to fish the FLW for eagle claw. Don't have a #, but google him...

Can't go wrong with Capt. Tony Tillet on the "Carolinian" out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. Been going once or twice a year with them for the last 5-6 years. Big, clean, fast, comfortable boat and top notch mate.
One bit of advice, book early - June is a busy time and Tony books up quick.

if you want to catch fish i would do a dolphin king trip i used to mate and now run a charter and the marlin fishing is hit or miss big time.

hey man, if you want to stay close to shore 5 to 10 miles, IM me we can do some king and big spanish mackeral fishing. June will be some hot fishing down there. That way you will not have to spend a lot of money for a charter. Folks have a place at Emerald Isle.
