Glass Costas.. all day, any day... I wore oakleys for about 10 years, tried my new Costas just to see if they’re all that and I’ll never look back!!
I get glasses with readers on the bottom from amazon in the $30 range. work fine for me. Have light bronze/yellow, and a darker greenish grey in the boat , usually start with the yellow and as sun gets up go to the grey unless it is pretty overcast.
Eye doc told me Costa or Maui. Costa cuzz they are for fishermen. I have a pair of Costas en route from GlassesUSA right now.
I have 3 pairs of Costa 580g. Had 4 but lost a pair on a jet ski about a month ago
It all depends on who is making the lenses, the frame is not the important thing.

Glass Lens Costa for the last 25 years ... until I heard recently that an MLF ref lost most of his sight in one eye after a 1 oz weight went through his glass lens after an unsuccessful punching hook-up.
I am going to shift to the plastic version Costa from now on. I kind of like to see out of both eyes.
Costas IMO are the best. So many options and varieties to choose from. They seem to hold up well both their plastic and glass versions.

I start off each year with 3 pairs of foster grants. They're about 20 bucks a pop. Clearly there are better brands but I don't see the need for use on a boat. For driving I use Ray Bans in the truck and both cars. I won't wear expensive glasses on the boat anymore. Just my opinion.

The quality of Costa's is second to none and the warranty is outstanding! The Goddess of Melholland Gardens, aka the Current Wife, has 4 pair and loves them. I have 3 pair, ditto on the love affair.
