I would love to go but would like to share the trip with someone. Never been dont even know how to get there

I wanted to go but have to work 11th and 26th I have off the weekend before and after.

ahoskie inn $50.00 a night (sportsman rate) double beds, hook ups for the boat,
and they now have a bar in the motel.

64 east to Williamston, then 17 north to Windsor (I think that's the name), then 13 to Ahoskie. 13 crosses the Chowan north of Ahoskie.

If you're good with maps, you can turn north on a smaller road just past Rocky Mount and shoot straight into Ahoskie via some tiny towns and short-cuts.

We'll probably see who can go and then have a get-together "somewhere central to everyone" and determine who can partner with who, and what boats. It should be a blast!

I have a Tourny on the Roanoke the weekend before that. It's my experience that after I fish the Roanoke or the Chowan I don't want to get anywhere near those bodies of water for about 1 year. It’s even worse that my Yadkin Chain syndrome. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif

Shoot first, ask questions later when it's "go time" on the mighty Chowan! Too many dudes with no shoulders looking to do you in down there!!!!!!!

I don't recall ever seeing no shoulders down there. Maybe I need to go more often. Also, I'm still waiting to see black bears on Holiday Island.
