First off, Boxers typically are not water dogs. This was Mugsy's first trip on the boat. He had a blast. He was more interested in eating my bait than the fish were..

LOL nice. People ask me why I don't take my Lab mix out in the boat with me. She'd probably be jumping in the water every time she saw a critter and I'd have to chase her with the trolling motor.
Great pic! :thumb up2:
Thats awesome, we had a lab named mugsy when i was a kid!
hold on to him when you work a spook !!!!! my Lab almost when out of my boat after it!!!
Dogs are special
Great. Will never leave your side. Though my shepherd mix has a tough time resisting fetching baits.
 :thumb up2: Boxers make great best friends.
What a great photo!
I'd frame that and put it on the mantle. Great picture and good pup!
Cool deal...I guarantee that he will be addicted in a trip or two and will know every time that you hook the boat up. Every dog that I have ever taken has loved it. I'm thinking it must be like a mini-vacation or something for them.
Great looking pup...

Give him the rod and let him fish
My lab will be excited that she gets to go on the boat but once she is on you will not see her until she knows that we are getting back to the boat launch and she will come out from under the passenger console and stand up on the front deck all proud and regal. She doesn’t even get excited if you show her a fish.
Always fun having mans best friend aboard. We take our two pups all the time. They love licking fish!

Have a big pit who loves to go fishing. Only problem is he wants to jump in the water after my bait. If I catch a fish he tries to eat it.
