$1000 E-Tec

I picked my 10 year old son up for the summer this week and took him out in the boat for a little fishin trip on Mississippi last night. After blasting around the river for a while we stopped to fish and he told me he really liked the new motor. after some discussion I told him to guess how much that motor costs. He thought for a second and said $1000. I told him it was $15000. After some silence he looked at me and said, "that was money well spent!". Oh how right he is. Now if my wife could only think like that!

1989 Champion 201 tournament Fish N Ski with GT 150, champion trailer (single axle) custom canvas, TCR 1-ID on console TCR 101 on bow, etc was $20K back then.
