Re: Trolling Motor (StetsonBasser)
Bass pro always has the all terrain motors on sale Aaron. Just get a 12v either 44 or 50 lb thrust. I found one real cheap at a Wall Mart one time so be sure to check those too.
Re: Trolling Motor (StetsonBasser)
aaron, what kind of t/m you got now, or the one that got broke? i've got an evinrude kickn round somewhere..........the only wrong that i can remember with it was a bent skeg from getting thrown up against a dock from some ass??e's wake. other than that it worked fine. let me know if you're interested.
Re: Trolling Motor (moto)
Aaron, go to http://www.extremebass.net and take down the phone number and give Kevin a call. Got a used troller from him over the winter for a friend. See if he has any used motors or he may be able to fix your old one.
Re: Trolling Motor (cape cod basser)
Aaron, I know it's not what your looking for but there was an old bow 28 on the jon that I bought. Scott said it worked good and you can have it if you like. I also have a newer transom 28. Dave
Re: Trolling Motor (TheJaywalker)

Re: Trolling Motor (StetsonBasser)
Well I bit the bullet and just ordered one from Cabelas. What really hurts is the shipping charge to get it here before I leave this sunday! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif
Re: Trolling Motor (StetsonBasser)
Walmart had 40 pound thrust Minkotas..Power drives i think?? 300$
Re: Trolling Motor (JerryT)
i went to 7 different Wal-Marts and 2 sports authoritys in MA, VT and NH and I didn't see a single Bow mount trolling motor, they were all Transom mount Endura's. Plus I wouldn't want one of the Power Drives, I used one once and I can't stand the way they turn.
