Pickwick this time of year?

Never fished pickwick in sept. Are fish primarily in summer pattern or moving into creeks already. May head that way soon.

I haven't been myself but I talked to a couple of guys that said they were starting to school and were busting shad already.

went to day the fish are schooling in waterloo behind state line island all little ones the better fish are still on ledges caught a few 3 pounders out on the ledges

Thanks for the info. I will be heading down in a week to try my luck. I will probably fish around bear creek area. I'll post what I find.
