I think if the stories coming out about GM regarding ventilators and its unwillingness to retool , price gouging ect. during a pandemic are true , it may come back to bite them in da butt in the future with their customers.

Gouging Medical.
:salute: They are glad to help as long as they get paid for the retooling and for the units! Glad to see us bailing them out a few years ago is paying dividends.
Bad move from the leaders of GM. If true. We are hearing a lot of crazy stories right now.
Ventilators would probably break down and have recalls anyway.
Have had GM products since I was 17...I am now 67. Will NOT purchase another GM product and it all started for me when they moved the plant out of the USA to China.
Shame on them...the almighty dollar is fogging their judgment.
The Trumpster had to invoke the war powers act on GM to get them to make the ventilators. Gm was playing games at this time and it won't sit well with the citizens. Not real smart on their part. And yes, they must have forgotten about the bailout several years back.
Trump didn't forget when they sent work to China to avoid the tariffs.
I think we should tell them to build them for free to help compensate for the money they never paid back a few years ago
Glad we don't need GM to make tanks or planes. Do some research on what Henry Ford did in WWII to make bombers and such. He seemed to put America first over profits.
Hearing about the companies that started helping without being asked, then you hear about GM wanting to play games. Ridiculous!!!
Just curious as to why none of the other automakers are making ventilators? Or are they?
Ford is and a few other companies
My daughter's company is working to supply material to GM for the ventilators. All the raw material has to qualify before it can be shipped. People forget no one waived the little things like this yet.
Retooling is a joke I worked in a vehicle manufacturing plant the electronics department could be switched in a few days for very minimal amount of money. Were not talking about changing the assembly line. GM made the decision to turn it's back on America's sick and I hope they go bankrupt for doing so.
