You'd be surprised how active they stay all the way to ice up. I use a lot of hair jigs, float n fly, blade baits and spoons in the late fall. I was catching decent numbers on Geneva last year in 36* water about 2 weeks before Christmas. It does help to have sunny days though. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
