Thumbs Up SS prop question for a 2012 Bass tracker TXW 175 / 60hp 4 stroke

    Hi people,
    Say, I was wondering~~~~~
Are there any bass tracker TXW 175 with a Mercury 60 hp EFI 4 stroke owners that replaced there aluminum prop for an SS prop? Or an owner with a similar boat and motor.
My boat info.....2012 Bass Tracker TXW 175 with a Mercury 60 hp 4 stroke. My aluminum prop is 10.38 x 14p setup from factory. WOT approximately 37 mph trimmed out right at 6000rpm's me alone. On a nice day. The aluminum prop is good at that pitch and diameter. What I was wondering?????
I want to replace my aluminum prop for a SS prop. I would like some feed back from others that experienced this upgrade.
Should I stay at 10.38 x 14 for a SS prop as to what my aluminum prop setting was? Or go 10.50 x 13....10.50 x 12......etc.
I would like some advise before I purchase the Stainless steel prop. Thanks.

Wilds. Before i upgraded to the 115 opti on my 175 i was running a 60 efi and i had a ss prop on it. I stuck with the same diameter and pitch and on a good day could run 38 mph gps at 6000 rpm. The ss prop was much smoother and seemed very balanced. I still have that prop just sitting around. When i traded in the 60 i put the aluminum prop back on. IDK if you are interested? I wouldnt drop down in pitch seeing as how you can hit max rpms with the 14 pitch already. Going down in pitch will accelerate better but be on the rev limiter and in turn lower top speed.

I was hearing dropping down in pitch if going to SS because it doesn't flex like aluminum. In other forums those people didn't have my style of boat. What are you asking for that SS prop. I'm very interested. PM me......
I work at Cabela's part-time and ran across a cabela's brand SS prop and thought about buying it. Wasn't really sure of it.

Probably in feb 2014 I will be repowering to a 115hp merc like yours. I was even thinking about a 2003 Merc 125 hp 2 stroke I can get my hands on cheap as of now. How easy was it to connect your existing elec. wires to the 115 after going from a 60? Does it directly fit or would I have to jimmy the wires a little.
