    Tims Ford

Does anyone know when registration opens for the Coke Classic? Is it still the first weekend in April? Thanks!

    Josh,

It's held every year in April out of the bass club in Winchester. It's usually $100 entry, but pay outs are very good because it's backed by Coke. Usually draws 150+ boats!

The registration is the hard part. I get something in the mail every year, but only because I have fished it in the past. Usually by the time I get it, there are already 100 boats in front of me. Our best bet I think would be finding someone local or involved with the bass club where we could register earlier online or over the phone. Which is why I posted here.

There is no online registration for this Tournament. Also it is not backed in anyway by Coca-Cola anymore. The new name is the Tims Ford Bass Classic. Flyers and entry forms are being printed next week and will be mailed asap. The forms will also be available at multiple boat shows and boat dealers(Gilliam's Marine, Tracker in Winchester) along with multiple other retail locations locally. There is also some new features this year, including paying to 15 places, and flighted take off and return times. The tournament is also First Flight eligable with Phoneix boats. Phoneix boats, Russel Barnett and Gilliam's Marine are some of the new sponsors this year. The Tims Ford Bass Club president is the Tournament director and his name is Jerry and can be reached at (931) 224-7140.

I've got some extra entry forms in Nashville if anyone needs one.
