    Skeeter Lettering

Anyone know where I can get the "SKEETER" lettering for the top cap? I believe it is the bubble lettering. Thanks.

Have you tried a Skeeter dealer? I just got in some ZX225 decals from my dealer.

Those little decals that are on my windshields are 24.00 a piece. I put them on my trailer fenders between the tires. Kind of dressed up the rig. Who knows what the raised SKEETER will cost, but it looks real good.

    Re: Skeeter Lettering (SkeeterBob)

For some reason this boat is missing the SKEETER lettering. I dont know if it originally had it on the top cap or not. There is not lettering on the side of the hull either, which is strange. Most mid 90's boats do. In fact, the only mention of Skeeter on the entire boat is on the front of the console.

Jason, will your guy ship them if he can get them? TN is quite a ways away for this OK boy.

On a 97 202c there is no lettering on the top cap other than the 202c logo. On a 97 the "S K E E T E R" logo is on the side of the hull and it's the large logo.

    Re: Skeeter Lettering (TonyMc)

I figured that it was supposed to have the large lettering. There is absolutely no remnants of the lettering. I thought I might purchase the solid white lettering found on newer models and put it on the top cap. I am hoping that I will be able to find the lettering.

Does anyone know where I can find the plexiglass in the skeeter cutout found on this model trailer or an alternative that I can make? I am looking for white.

Take a look at BJ's boat. He replaced the SKEETER with the bug. Now to me that looks sweet.

    Re: Skeeter Lettering (Ron S)

Skeeter switched from the larger "SKEETER" lettering on the lower hull sides to the smaller lettering on the rear top caps in 2001. I've owned boats with both and I prefer the top cap letters more...

    Re: Skeeter Lettering (skeetzx225)

I couldnt agree more. I really like the top cap lettering better. I am just trying to find the solid white bubble lettering. I am afraid they are going to want more than I am willing to pay. Where is the best place to get "SKEETER" and bug decals? I am going to call Jason's guy next week, I just didnt know if there were any others.

    Re: Skeeter Lettering (empty livewells)

I talked to Richard at tiny fiberglass a month ago and he had them.
they were pretty expensive. They were $64 for each side. Red, with the silver and black trim.
I actually ordored the flat decal style, same color for $30 something each side for my Dads 1997 skeeter. He could not keep the raised decals on his boat. We went through 3 sets of raised.
Go with the flat ones and you will be happy with the decision. They look really nice too.

I needed to modify this------I am talking about the lower hull SKEETER lettering. Not the top cap. I don't believe they added that decal until 2001 when they took the main SKEETER off the side of the hull.

My 99 ZX202 came with the lettering on the top cap just like my ZX225 has.
