    Take out check valve

    Can you take out your check valve on the gas tank and everything still work or do you have to put one back in, I think my check valve is bad.

    If you are meaning the anti siphon valve, then yes it can be removed. I have seen many cleaned ( not reinstalled) with no problems.

    They can also simply be REPLACED (which is often a good option). It does serve a couple of purposes (some of which are safety related).
