Dowco cover, replacing a ratchet?

One of my ratchets wont tighten down without slipping, I got a couple new ratchets from dowco, does anyone know how to replace one? Thanks

I took mine to a local tarp shop to have them replaced. You need to have a fairly HD sewing machine to get the job done.
