    Cedar Creek in August

Headed to Cedar Creek in the morning. How's the bite? Taking someone who's never been on the lake and want to get them on some fish. Top water then big worms out on the grass line? I'll have a swim bait also. Anything else working this time of year?

Was a tough morning. Couldn't get a top water bite going. Went deeper and caught a few dinks with C rig. My partner got the best bass on the railroad drop with a worm. about 2.5 lbs. He loved the lake and will be back. He's more into the gills thought.

Thanks! I've never been to that lake but always wanted to go try it.

Small lake about <800 acres. A fishing lake, limited to launch ramps and parking only. Heavily fished but fun. We picked up a few fish from 3 to 1 lbs. I caught three 3 lbers on watermelon seed and chartreuse dyed brush hogs in the grassline and timber.
