No electricity getting to 60 hp Merc at all

I have a 2011 Tracker Bass Pro 175 TXW. I recently lost all the functions on the boat except for the trolling motor and I tracked it to the cranking battery being dead, so I put in a new battery. Everything electrical came back except for the big motor. The motor doesn't turn over and the tilt function doesn't work. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it? I'm not much of a mechanic.

Sounds like main engine wire Negative/Positive not connected or fuse blown....

Thanks for the help. I checked the fuses and they are OK, but I'll go back over the connections to see if I missed something.

Thanks rtlgator. You were right, I switched two cables on my battery and when I put them back right everything works fine.
    Again, thanks for the help.
