I believe there's a video of Gary Klein tying that knot.

it's the shaw grigsby not or also known as the pitzen knot. Probably the best knot for fluorocarbon but i've started using it on everything and it's a fantastic knot that's very simple to tie!

    Interesting. I will try it.

Due to a lot of arthritis in my hands, tying a knot can take many minutes away from my fishing. Thanks for posting.

Rich; Due to my age and eyesight I now use a hemostats to assist me when tying a knot. Maybe it could help you too.

Regarding the Gary Klein video, "The Shaw Grigsby Knot" (and any others that end up with 3 tag ends). Clipping 3 tag ends freaks me out...I'm not sure I could do that!

I like the video ol' Stumblebum posted...will have to try that. I used the Palomar with one brand of FC with no problems, after using it for years with copolymer. Changed to a different brand of FC and slipped the knot like 3 times in a half hour, so went to the Improved Clinch or Trilene Knot (I know, they're different but similar). Should work for the Trilene knot also.
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

I killed a 12-pack just to watch it die.
