    Jack Plate Size

I want to install a digital indicator for my Atlas hydraulic jack plate and need to figure out what size I have. Entire setback from the transom to motor mount is 9" but this is comprised of the jack plate and a forward bracket with a hole shot plate on the bottom. Pic is attached. Do I have an 8" or a 4"?IMG_0622.JPG

    It shouldn't make any difference.
But you have a 4" if it does.

The vendor offers two sizes, one for 4-6" jps and one for 8-12" jps. So it seems to make a difference.

    Gotcha.
Never rigged an atlas just a few hundred bobs.
