Taking a trip in the end of August to the Fergus Falls area with a couple families and boats. Considering leaving Friday morning at the end of the trip with just the guys and either going to Devils Lake ND or the Webster SD area fishing through Labor Day for a few days. I’ve been to both areas but it’s been over ten years, what’s the better pick for walleye, bass, sunfish/crappie/perch fun? About an hour difference in driving, not up on any current conditions in either area.

Lots of walleye around Webster too! I grew up in Watertown
I'd go to SD personally grant it I don't target walleyes but late August walleyes wouldn't excite me.

If you want bass, and Walleye, Webster area is tough to beat. There are so many lakes around that have different options.

Thanks for the recommendations, probably going to see what the weather looks like, both great fisheries. Devils Lake can be a real SOB in the wind..... at least Webster Area has some smaller lakes for plan B
