Iv got an older 93 model twin toon 24 ft i believe,i recently went from a 48 johnson to a 2005 yamaha 90 2 stroke, the toon runs pretty well gets about 5,600 rpm full throttle, but as i have been reading is fairly common, getting some prop blowout not terrible but when the front is loaded seems a little worse.I notice on the very bottom of the transom pod there is a small v welded under the drain hole.Does anyone know the purpose of this?Honestly i have no idea what ss prop came with the engine(just got it hung on there this weekend)it did come off of another larger toon.i did however notice very little cupping on the edges of the prop, didnt look worn but very little cupping.
