I had a email from Shutterfly as an advertisement for sales indicating this was 15 years ago! I was blown away at how time flies.
Reggie and Skipper were threre as were several others who don't post much any longer. Man! Was it ever HOT!

It was hot!! Never rolled over so many stumps on the way out to the main lake in all my days ...
Absolutely shocked it would be hot in freakin July
that's cool, good to hear from ya Bobby.
"ain't too smart.....but I'm always thinkin"
I have heard stories bout this one!!
My first and only trip to Limestone. Don't really want to ever go back ...
TombStone I think it was nicknamed after this event.
Yeah, Go figure, hot in Texas in July
I've been back a couple times in tournaments since then, and had much better luck. It's still a tough nut to crack, and as Reggie said that particular area we were in was beyond stumpy....
Herman's is long gone too.
Herman’s is gone, not a big loss. It’s about a mile from my house. If y’all want to rally here again, I’ll volunteer a place for the post event dinner. We can even do the weigh in at my dock.
Wisconsin/Minnesota/Michigan/Artic Circle in July!
I remember it being Hot & 0 wind on Saturday and very nice Sunday.
i remember you guys idling out from that area, it was painful. We use to run out of running branch to the main lake. me and the wife had a good time. Have not been to Limestone in many years.
