I finally managed to make my way back down to Clear Fork Reservoir. This time it had weeds and looked much healthier than the previous time. I was surprised by the number of anglers that were out there fishing on a Monday. That really shocked me and I can only imagine how many must be out on the weekends. I was able to piece a decent morning together before the heat got the best of me. I managed to catch bass on a popper, bladed jig, jerkbait, and square bill crankbait.
