Hey guys. I fish from Lay Lake south on the coosa and the Alabama river but have never been to Logan Martin. Thinking about taking the wife this time home. Any suggestions of best areas and good ramps. Possible hotel locations etc. Thanks

For ramps - the city park is nice if you come before AP drops the water to winter pool. Otherwise, you have several year-round ramps like Town & Country at mid-lake on the Pell City side. I like Poorhouse Marina as well. It's up-lake a bit more and on the Talladega County side. Just off I-20 is the Riverside Park ramp. There are several more. Hotels are available in Pell City with most near I-20.
