    Deep Cranking Line

Curious what line you guys use for your deep cranking. I'm mostly interested in 10-12 lb fluorocarbon recommendations for 15-20' baits. For the last few years I've been using Sniper and was happy. However lately I've noticed my break off ratio has went way up, to the point where I just don't have any confidence in it anymore. I've done all the usual and checked guides, reels, changed line, etc.

I use Seaguar Red Label. I don't buy bulk spools. Seems like most I have tried have a "shelf life". Also helpful to retie after a fish or two or after in and around cover. I use the same cranking set up for night time spinnerbait.

Have only had 1 problem with Sunline sniper in a 8 lb spool. They replaced it for me. All my cranking is done with 12 lb sniper .

12 lb Seaguar Abrazx for 6XD cranks. Can go down to 10lb on 5XD. Used for years and no issues for me.

I really like the Sunline Super Natty mono. Went out yesterday for the first time in awhile with line spooled back in April and compared to my other rods, the Sunline had little memory and still handled really nicely. Smaller diameter too. Long-time Yo-Zuri Hybrid guy too. I worry about FC breaking after launching big baits all day. It stretches, stretches and breaks.

12 lb Sniper for me as well. Caught a pike on a DT-16 this weekend that must've been north of 35 inches, no problems.

Sniper because of diameter. Sniper's 12 is as thin as almost all others 10. I keep that in mind on jerkbaits as well.

I Use P-line 12lb Fluorcoated mono line. I think It works really nice. Been using it for the use past 3 years after breaking so many from other brands.
