Caution when fishing out of Tower on Vermilion

I fished Vermilion this past weekend on the second day we went into tower via the canal that takes you into town. On our way out i hit a rock that was just past the buoys that mark the entrance to the canal. I was told that the locals have been trying to get it marked for years. I wish i could give you better location of the rock. Just be careful
