    Talon spike not staying in

One of my Talon spikes is not staying attached, it comes right out,

I had to take off my talon from the bracket in order to move the boat in the water.

It looks like the o'ring is damaged, but is that what holds it in,

I believe if I get a new o'ring and slide it back in it will hold??

not sure what the next step would be,...

I can see how to replace a spike requires popping out pins adding a new o'ring

its an 8ft 1st gen model

any one with experience please chime in
    thanks

The O-ring does not hold the spike up. It is the wrap drum that does that. It could be the the torq spring in side of the wrap drum could be broken. Other than that does the wrap drum make any clicking noise when it is operating from the deployed position?

the clicking noise is not a good thing. that is a deploy cable that deploys and stows the stages of the talon. I am having my Gen 1 restrung tomorrow.
