    Prayer Request

    Good Morning Everyone!

    My family and I am not one to ask very often but Please Pray for my wife and her side of the family. Some of you may remember about a year ago my wife's dad spent almost 6 weeks in the hospital due to liver failure. He was an alcoholic most of his life. He had emergency surgeries, wasn't really expected to make it out of the hospital. Di and I took a lot of turns around the clock staying up there with him during that time. He did make it out of the hospital and even went back to work for a few weeks, but was forced into retirement in October of last year.

    Long story short, her dad has been in and out of the hospital again, but is going downhill rapidly, very rapidly. Right before I left to go to Icast it was confirmed that he does also have cancer. He is not expected to live much longer......4-6 weeks 8 if we are lucky. Di is only 31 years old and losing her Dad is going to break her. Not only is she a co-owner of RMP and helps out at the shop daily, but now she is also traveling to Wichita almost everyday to check up on her dad (she has a medical background). Her mom still works during the day and both of her younger brothers (who are in their late 20's and live at home) don't provide much relief for their mom so Di has been stepping in a LOT.

    Last conversation she had last night with her dad he told her: "I'm getting worse. I don't have much time left." Di has done such an amazing job balancing everything, please pray that she can keep finding the strength to be the strong one in her family to be able to keep doing what she is and keep being there for her Dad. It's been exhausting on everyone, but she keeps getting up and doing what needs to be done without complaint!

    Update: My father in Law went down hill very rapidly on Friday evening and after a very hard battle, has just passed. Please pray for my wife......this is going to break her.
