The R series only suffers as a bass motor due to the SportMaster cases. For everyday bass use focus on TorqueMaster cases.

BCB....if I went with the torque master I would in danger of a blow out if I exceeded 85 mph. And then I get lowered performance out of the Sportmaster. Just a crappy place to be if I want the 300R on a Eyra. Pretty sure it will exceed 85 mph.

I’ve owned 9 pumas and ran/fished out of an Eyra this past weekend. I just swapped my 2020 to an eyra. It had a 250 Pro XS 4 stroke on it and I was very pleased. Full of fuel and me and partner ran it up to 79.8 with stock 25 Fury 3. Holeshot was good. Mid range was great.

WOW 79.8 loaded I just was in a 19 Eyra with a 250 pro XS 4s it only ran 77 with 2 people with maybe 2 gallons gas in it and zero tackle on a cool day at 6100 rpm with a 24 Fury hole shot was slow mid range was good .That just shows you some boats are just faster than other boats that are same combo.
