Weather is always hit or miss that time of the year.
I live about a mile from FnF on the Six Mile side, so give me a shout and I'll try to help you out.
Toledo has been fishing tough for me the last couple years.

I definitely miss the grass. Keep hoping it comes back and the fishing pressure keeps going down. Last I knew there was still lots of grass down in Housen. TB has been extra tough this year for me. I have a place over by Harborlight and my dad lives across the cove from the campground.

If you want to visit, great. If you want to catch fish, stick with Fayette. Or go to Rayburn, it’s hot.

Keep it up, y'all are gonna talk me into going to Rayburn.I love eating at the stump plus my daughter takes care of the big bass tank at Tackle Addict, she can do the tank while we're there and I can shop.

I made three trips to Rayburn and stayed at the Rayburn inn, great place and well suited for fisherman. You will have fun and catch a lot of fish.

What kind of crowd should be expected at Rayburn all week for that tournament, I don't do crowds well and may just go back to Toledo Bend or up to Fork.

If it's anything like the Fork event, it will be crowded all week leading up the the tournament. The fact that you got the only vacant room this far in advance is an indication.

The week day crowd probably won't be all that bad until Thursday or Friday. Rayburn's a big lake and if you avoid the community holes you'll be fine.
Most of the people that draw checks in the BBS won't be out there sore mouthing the fish they are going to need come tournament days.

Hopefully I will be on the Bend some of that week, got a week of vacation scheduled. Have a camp not to far south of 6 mile, so might see ya up there.
