Thumbs Up C-Map Precision Card for NC - update

Just received an updated ship date for the new C-Map cards of 7/25. I expect to have them in hand by this time next week. We have a waiting list on these but should have enough to cover everybody and some extra. If you want to be on the list, I need an email or phone #.

    Thanks,
    Roy

The info published by Navico in that sales bulletin is a little incomplete... Tuckertown and Badin are also on the card (hi-res). It was left off the flyer for some reason. We mapped Badin for MLF when they were here last fall and Tuckertown was done this spring. It is definitely on the card (we have a pre-release version in our training lab).

    Just FYI...

Guys. Pm me with your email or phone (don’t post it here unless you like lots of spam!).

I’ll get them out as soon as they hit the shop.

    Tnx

At this point, we know these work on HDS GEN 2 and up. They MAY work on GEN 1 but I don’t have one to test. They have not yet put these cards on the published compatibility matrix.

They will also work on Elites and some Hook units as well.

Are these card sold on a state by state basis or is it more similar to the Navionics where you would purchase a card for a region?

They are currently sold state by state ($150). The cards are made available as soon as a state is finished processing. Currently the released states are AL, TN, and now NC. SC will be next.

After they complete a region, I have been told the plan is to make a regional card available....but that will be ways off.

Lots of moving parts in getting a system setup to handle updating the cards as they add additional lakes in a state. But they are working very hard on getting everything set up online....maybe even see something later this year.

But for now, these are the most accurate maps that money can buy...even better than HB's Lakemaster series (just because they were done more recently than Lakemaster).

Thanks for the quick response. Do you know if KY will be coming any time soon? Thinking specifically of Kentucky and Barkley.

KY Lake is on the TN map (took them about 2 1/2 months to map it!!!) I don't think they got Barkley on this Version 1...but I will have to check.

All the way to the dam? Yeah, I can image that was a pretty large endeavor.
