    Question HDS10, HDS9 Touch Screens Messed Up With Freedom Maps Card

    There were few/no choices in mapping cards for our area, so we use the discontinued Freedom Maps card. After the time/GPS issues and updates over the winter, we can no longer zoom out very far without the unit screens suddenly turning green, fuzzy and unviewable. My map is still usable, I can zoom out to maybe a mile wide view, but we tried my spare card in another guy's Touch 9 that needed a map, and his unit would only zoom out to maybe a couple hundred yards of view before turning green, so no good.
    Any ideas?

    Found the issue......... something in the latest updates keeps changing the chart imagery from "2D" to "show contours". I have to manually set it to "2D" whenever the unit is shut down and powered up.
