My jag with 400 2 men loaded would do 85mph. That 450 will be all over 90mph

What are the topend numbers? Why is Basscat so tight lipped with them?

there are no real numbers yet. They are still working on the right props and set up. And with this boat it’s going to take more than a Promax or bravo or whichever. It’s only been done for a week and a half. It is a very good looking boat and will be a terrific big water boat. Just a little out of my price range lol.

You'll never get Basscat to come up with a hard number, that puts them in a bad spot if you cant match it.

A thread on the owners board had BCB stating the Jag could go as high as a 150k with the 450. I'm am pretty sure that is specific to electronics options and other accessories.
If I could, I would, but I dont have the big boy wallet for that BCB. There will be those that can enjoy the excess in the Bass Boat world. Cant wait to see one in person. Maybe get a ride!

I rode in the new Basscat Jaguar last Tuesday morning. It's a beast with the 450. They got it up to 92 that morning there was a lot of boat traffic when we went out you could run 70s in the rough stuff we hit 89 turns on a dime. You can drive it with 2 fingers. The new 450r Mercury is $65,000 by itself. They just broke it in the previous Friday and are still playing with props and adjustments, set up right it'll run over 100

Billis just posted that Jaco's Marine has the 450R listed at $43-$47K. If you want to give someone an extra 20 grand for it, be my guest. Just buy the boat and schedule an appointment at Jaco's for the engine install.

Somehow, I don't think there will be a Jaguar "SP" option pack available.
    LOL...
