Ok, now i am really confused..we have all seen the pic of the Puma hull setting inside the Jag mold and the Puma is listed at 94 beam..the Jag mold swallows the Puma and looks way wider than 94 & 1/2?????

I believe the answer is not at the transom.

The new jag is massive! Wider than the Lynx.
It's an aircraft carrier. Rick stated the choice engines for the new Jag are the 300-400hp motors.

As for tourments, most do not buy a 22 foot boat. I believe the Lynx fills that market.
The Jag will be the ultimate bass rig for those that can afford it.

I would like to know if the Ultrex Trolling motor on the new Jaguar is the 48" for 52" shaft.

    Thank You

Its a awesome looking boat, dont get me wrong. I personally cant imagine spending 100k+ plus for a bass boat. Sorry guys I just cant. And then when I came time to sell, you would be selling a used boat at a new boat price, in regards to another model.

Pretty sure it's a 60" from the pics I looked at.

I would like to see a pic of the Lynx from the same vantage point to compare the two..i know the Jag is longer than the Lynx, but i am really interested in how much real world wider it is????

Jaco marine has the 450R priced between 43-47k. So I'd wager the new Jag that was introduced is very near 100k, maybe in the mid 90's.

I'm sure it's a 52". The 60" spoke of above this it is not because it is all the way lowered and is stored a 60" would be hanging over the mount.

What I think is most impressive is Basscat trusts their transom's to this Monster/weight/stress. I'm waiting to see if Skeeter, Phoenix, all the rest try to compete..

No WAY that thing is under 100k with a 450R. How much you wanna "wager" ...I'm game.

I'm guessing with a honest tournament load and a prop that is good all around(hole shot, load carrying, handling) it would fall between 82-86 mph. Not to say high 80's or even 90 couldn't be possible with a lighter load and a more exotic or top end oriented prop. I'm may be way off though. Looking forward to hearing reports from BCB on it soon.

White Gambler is probably correct here. Once you load the front with a lot of equipment and prop it for a fishing set up it will take some of the speed out of it. Keep in mind the Jag is a heavy hull. The thing that is different is the bottom of the hull and the tanks being all rearward. Still would be surprised if it does 90 with a tourney load.

I was told yesterday at the public day that it had been up to 95-96. At least that's what multiple people there said.
